Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.
- Mark Twain
…he’s right. I don’t care what anyone tells you about the inappropriateness or immoral quality of judgment of another person’s clothing, people judge you right away based specifically on what you’re wearing. In fact, people tend to notice a person’s shoes first and foremost. I think that a person’s shoes can easily change a person’s opinion of you. It’s not about money, or even quality, it’s about fit and style. Target sells real cheap shoes that LOOK like amazing loafers or boat shoes that you can easily wear with a pair of khaki shorts and a button-up during the summer. Instead of spending a ton of money, spend a ton of time looking for the right fit and the right style to work with your body shape, size, and clothing choices. What you say is most important, so why let your lazy shoe choice ruin a person’s opinion of you before they hear what you have to say?
